Many people have been apprehensive about undressing for the first time, but once they’ve done it wonder what the big problem was in the first place!

We would suggest that if you are apprehensive, make sure you have a sarong, towel or poncho with you and work your way from there...

Actually, no one is looking at your body; in fact, newbies tend to avoid looking as if their lives depend on it!

This is about YOU as a person, which is not defined by what you look like because that’s the point! Being Naked is one of the best ways to become more confident! Equally, you should never be ashamed to let people know how confident you are in yourself!

What we do at our events is safe, legal, and healthy. Naked events instil the true values of body acceptance and show us that nakedness is nothing to be ashamed of and is, in the truest sense, natural.

British Naturism is built around a non-sexual and non-judgemental environment. It’s nothing seedy, it’s not swinging or mass orgies - it’s literally adults enjoying doing things Naked.

If you are expecting scenes from a porn film then you will be very disappointed.

That doesn’t mean events is asexual - just as you would at any other gathering, don’t do it in public! What happens in the privacy of your own lodging by mutual consent is your business. Just do it safely (and quietly if you wouldn’t mind!).

Our team are experienced with large-scale Naked events.

Each event has security and safeguarding teams plus mental health first-aiders. Our team is representative of those attending and is well-balanced.

Zero tolerance - our events offer a Safe Space - if you are not acting in the spirit of the event, you will be removed.

Put your clothes on!

We may enjoy being Naked but we are not stupid. Nobody needs to be uncomfortable.

A British Naturism event is the perfect way for people to try out social nudity for the first time.

We understand that not everyone is as confident as the other.

The fact is, the more people embrace it, the more it encourages others to go for it. We hope the spirit of our events and (hopefully) the weather will allow for the perfect setting for inhibitions to be shed.

We get that sometimes one person in a relationship or friend is super supportive but not too keen on the Naked bit!

We are happy for someone to accompany you and if possible join in. If not we ask that they wear something like a sarong or poncho rather than a three-piece suit or dress.

At a Waterpark or swimming event, we would expect all participants to be Naked unless on their period, where being only topless is acceptable.

Being nude with others is not embarrassing. First-timers often remark how quickly they feel comfortable wearing nothing and seeing others unclothed – in fact, it’s easy to forget that everyone is naked…and just because they are, doesn’t make for a sexually-charged atmosphere either.

Naturist etiquette requires a towel, sarong or garment to be sat on at all times. The same as if you were taking a sauna. It's the done thing across the globe in Naked environments.

It's only natural!

There are several ways to make your event experience more comfortable. Ultimately, it is down to personal preference; some ladies prefer to wear bottoms, while others only use products.

Either way, it’s about your personal comfort. You won’t be judged.

The most frequently asked question posed by men!

Honestly, it very rarely happens; a Naturist environment is not one that is sexually charged. If nature does take its course, then take a break, sit down and relax - ultimately be discreet.

The photos you see on this site are all from real events and have been tastefully taken by our professional photographers.

On arrival, you will be issued a wristband indicating if you are happy to be in photos or not.

Photos are really important as they sell the event for future participants - at all times we are respectful of your decision.

General photography is not allowed.

Non-consensual photography will lead to eviction from an event and potentially be reported to the police.

At certain events, we will clearly mark an area for personal photography, perhaps in front of a logo.

Photographs taken on pitches at a festival, with permission of everyone in the viewfinder, are also acceptable.

No, just come along as you would to any other event. Any specific instructions will be given at the time of ticket purchase.
